Olivia Brooks & Jessica Sandall
otherwise also know as "Liv & Jess"Welcome to The Adventure Awaits! We are Liv and Jess two strangers who met at London Heathrow Airport for the first time both with a one-way ticket to Thailand. Fast forward 18 months later and we want to start sharing our journey, our future travel plans, and all of our tips, tricks and recommendations we have learnt along the way with you all. We can't wait to share our personal journeys which led us to the decision of that one-way ticket to the other side of the world, all of the amazing places we have visited, as well as, the struggles, the broke girl eras and the time we were even stranded on an island! If you're thinking about leaving your hometown, embracing solo travelling and seeing the world, this is THE place for you! The adventure begins NOW…
Olivia Brooks (Liv)
I'm Liv, One half of The Adventure Awaits! I'm 24-year-old from the United Kingdom. Since I was young, I've always been passionate about travel, whether that's going on holidays or working in the travel industry. I was never really one to like studying and I found school challenging. This led me to undertake an apprenticeship with British Airways at Heathrow Terminal 5. The airport's vibrant atmosphere always appealed to me. Despite enjoying this environment and the frequent travel opportunities the job offered, I've always had the DREAM of actual travelling around the world with a backpack, exploring new places, and immersing myself in diverse cultures.

Jessica Sandall (Jess)
I am Jess, the other half of The Adventure Awaits! I am from England and when I say I have always wanted to travel, I have ALWAYS wanted to travel. From a young age I have always dreamt about getting on a plane with a one-way ticket and a bag on my back with my whole life in it. The world we live in today isn't built to make us believe this is possible or even realistic. People would always tell me, you live in a dream world, normal people don't do this!
- How will you afford this?
- Don't you want to buy a house instead?
- What about your career you've worked so hard for?
- The list goes on…
