Microfibre Towel -
The majority of hostels will charge you for the use of their towels and not all budget hotels provide you with a towel. When travelling we found it so useful to carry our own personal towel that we could use in the Hostels and out and about on our adventures. The towels do not need to take up a lot of space in your luggage and we found having a quick-dry, compact, and foldable travel towel is the answer. This specific one comes with a bag that you can put the towel in which is useful if you didn't have space inside your bag you could clip/ tie it onto the outside of your backpack. We would recommend the Medium Size 140x70cm, however, you can purchase them in multiple other sizes in Small or Large Sizes.

Combination Padlocks -
Not all Backpacks/ Suitcases come with built-in locks on them, so we found having a few with us was essential, especially the combination padlocks as you don’t have the worry of misplacing/losing the key. Also, most Hostels will have lockers in the rooms or in the communal areas and they don’t always provide locks or they will charge to hire one, so having combination padlocks to hand are always useful to securely lock your valuable belongings away. However, some Hostels may not have the luxury of a locker or safe to put your belongings in so the next best thing would be your backpack or suitcase, so they are ideal to put on so you can put your valuables inside your bag and put a lock on it so they are somewhat safer. We recommend these ones as the flexible cable makes it versatile meaning that it can withstand rough handling and is thin enough to fit through almost any luggage lock or zip grip. Bum Bag -
When going on long day trips or adventures you don’t always want to carry a big bag or backpack on your back so we found that by having this bum bag allowed us to put all of our important documents or valuable items in and with this specific one, it comes with an adjustable Belt which can be easily adjusted to the ideal length that fits your body perfectly. Which allows you to wear it in front of your waist, on your hip, over your shoulder or under your arm. Being able to adjust this and wearing it on your front made it less likely for pickpocketers to target you as it was always so close to you. It is very compact but has multiple different compartments so you are able to fit a lot in it.
Packing Cubes -
These packing cubes are one of the top essential things we used when packing as they will allow you to keep everything in your backpack/suitcase organised and tidy. When travelling we both used all of the packing cubes within these sets as they each have their own purpose and help you to be able to compress your clothes so they then take up less space and you can organise your clothes into tops, bottoms, underwear etc and also find what you need a lot quicker so you don't spend ages rummaging through all of your clothes. Also if you want to unpack your backpack you can quickly and easily do so by just taking out the packing cubes and putting them piled up in the wardrobe.
Hanging Toilet Bag -
The majority of bathrooms in hostels or budget hotels often have very little surface space to put your toiletries on, you will find a lot of bathrooms are shared and very small, but you will always notice they have a hook of some sort somewhere which makes having a hanging toiletry bag so much easier as you can have all your toiletries in one space and hook it to a pipe or rail. That's why having a hanging toiletries bag is essential to have while travelling.

Extra Long Phone Charger -
In most hostels and budget hostels, you will find there aren't many plug sockets and if there are they aren't near your bed or someone has nabbed the one that is closest to you. That's where the extra-long charger cable comes in handy so you charge what you need from anywhere in the room. We got the 3m one when we went travelling and it came in handy so many times. We highly recommend taking one if not two of these with you, they do come in different lengths to but we definitely recommend either the 2m or 3m cable.

Dry Bag & Phone Case -
Both of these products came in extremely handy when we were travelling, as when we did any day trips like white water rafting, boat trips etc. or even just going down to the beach. It gave us peace of mind that our valuable belongings would be kept dry. They are also good for keeping your passports, phone, money etc dry if your travelling from place to place and it is raining. We recommend the 10L one as it's not too big or too small and fits everything we need to fit inside. They also fold down small and don't weigh a lot so it's perfect to fit inside your backpack or even any bag in case you need it when you are out and about.
